HERE BE MONSTERS: Development and Creation

Over the year, the Collective will be nurturing the research, development, and performance of numerous theatrical and artistic ventures including . . .

'The Life Game' - A format developed by Keith Johnstone, this experiment will reunite some improvisational originators as well as some new voices. Interviewing a different guest each night, the ensemble improvises their Life Story. Evoking a highly theatrical style of improv that is story-based, poignant, funny, and touching. 'Extensions of my Peace' - HBM Collective member Heather Lindsay is in the depths of interviewing people from across the continent on their impressions of "Peace." From this, she will develop a one woman show.

'Sleep Tight' - The One Night Only Performance at the 2006 Vancouver Fringe will go through workshops, dramaturgy, and general sleeplessness towards a future remount. Created and performed by Theatre Melee (the minds behind the fringe festival blow-out hit, Lazy Susan) and The Chop (creators of Patti Fedy) . . . Stay Tuned . . .
